Family Guy: A Little Fright Music, on Hulu (look for it under "Exclusives")

This Hulu special is a webisode of the TV series Family Guy. It premiered on October 6, 2025. I watched it that month, I guess, and wrote a review, but my review was lost in 2026. So I watched it again that year to write a new review. I don't remember how much I liked it the first time I watched it, whether it was more, less, or about the same as I liked it the second time. (I'm also not sure whether I like it more or less than the 2024 Family Guy Hulu exclusive Halloween special, Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Cheater. I've given it a slightly lower rating than that one, but it's possible the 2025 special was just as good or even better. My ratings can be kind of... I dunno, they're not really set in stone, or anything.)
Okay. So, Stewie decides he and Brian should write a new Halloween song. (Personally, I think there are a fair number of good songs that fit the holiday, including some that are actually about the holiday itself. Stewie thought the only one was "Monster Mash", but I don't think that's specifically about Halloween, so it doesn't even count as the "only" Halloween song. But whatever.) Meanwhile, Chris wants to go trick-or-treating, but Lois says he's too old for that. Then Peter says he'll take Chris to "the game", which Cleveland and Joe also tell their wives. But really, Peter, Chris, Cleveland, Joe, and Quagmire all go trick or treating in another town, so the wives won't find out. But the wives eventually do figure out that their husbands lied to them, and come up with a prank to get back at them, which I liked. And then of course we get to hear Stewie's song, which was kind of fun.
That's pretty much it. There were some jokes I didn't remember from the first time I watched it, to the point I wondered if it was possible they'd been edited into the special sometime after it was originally released. But that's crazy, it's far more likely my memory just sucks. Most of the special was familiar, though. And as usual for "Family Guy", there's plenty of stuff I disliked, or just felt "meh" about. But there's also some good stuff. Overall, I guess it was worth watching. Maybe even worth watching twice. But I don't know if I'll ever want to watch it again.
