This webisode was released on June 17, 2026, as part of season 37. (I'm not sure if it counts as an "alternate universe" episode or not. It involves three separate fantasies, but the framing story could take place in the regular "Simpsons" universe.) Marge and Homer are planning on going out for a triple date with Lenny and Carl and their dates, but the babysitter is running late. Homer tells Marge to go by herself, and he'll join her once the sitter arrives. Unfortunately, when the sitter shows up, she's in no condition to watch children, so Homer gets rid of her, and starts trying to find a replacement sitter. When he fails, he leaves the kids on the front lawn with the doorbell camera to keep an eye on them. Meanwhile, Marge is having a good time with everyone else, until Homer arrives and takes over the conversation. And when she finds him watching the kids on his phone, she gets angry and sends him home.

She then fantasizes about Homer being different versions of himself. First, he's a fearless fighter pilot, in a parody of Top Gun. Marge is his psychologist, helping him get over his "fear of fear", and becomes his lover. That doesn't end well, but for the most part I found it amusing enough. Next, Marge imagines Homer as a 1950s businessman who's seeking a promotion at work. He's also married to Helen, with a couple of kids who are obviously the product of an affair between her and Kirk, though Homer seems unaware of that. Marge is a sort of bohemian artist whom Homer meets at a party, and they run off together (in a really cool animation style). But again, the fantasy doesn't end well. (I'm not sure if this is meant to be a parody of anything specific, but it kind of brought "Mad Men" to mind.) Then, Marge goes to Moe's Tavern, where she has another drink, and another fantasy. This time, it's a parody of Joker (and its sequel, which I haven't seen). Homer is a sad sack with a laughing disorder, who eventually gets fed up with how life treats him, and kills someone he mistakes for Krusty (who had mocked him on his talk show). He goes to prison, where he meets Margeley Quinn, who helps him break out and convinces him to kill the real Krusty, joined by a mob of citizens who haven taken a liking to the "D'ohker". This fantasy yet again ends badly for Homer and Marge. Eventually, in reality, Marge goes home and joins Homer and the kids in their treehouse, since they had been locked out of the house because Homer left the jacket with his keys at the restaurant where the date was. And despite all his flaws, Marge decides she's happier with the real Homer than any fantasy version of him.

Well, I thought this webisode had a lot of really funny parts, even if I didn't love quite all the jokes. And it was certainly an entertaining story (or stories). I think I was more impressed by this than anything else I've seen "The Simpsons" do in quite awhile (though to be fair, I haven't really watched the show in years, aside from the Treehouse of Horror and Disney+ webisodes and short films).
