A woman named Leda, mourning the death of her daughter, Airlia, apparently uses a scan of Airlia's mind, along with holographic projectors throughout her house, to bring her daughter "back from the dead". She spends most of the short film lying to Airlia, trying to keep her from learning the truth about herself. But Airlia realizes her mother is acting strangely, and in a video call to her father, Gabe, she finds that he acts strangely toward her, as well. Inevitably, she does eventually find out. And then a heartbreaking decision will have to be made.

Well, the short obviously has Black Mirror vibes, and I think it's handled at least as well here as any episode of that show that I've seen. The acting was good all around, and I couldn't help but sympathize with all three characters.
