"The Biscotti Incident" was a story I wrote most of, over the course of several years I think, but never quite finished. And now it has been lost. It's been years since I worked on it or read any of it, so I don't remember most of what happened, and it would be impossible to recreate it. All I can tell you is that it involved my character Cameron Piper, a spy for the ex-Sorreters, being assigned a mission to look into... something that one of the gages was up to. I don't really recall any details of that. Cameron was joined in his investigation by his bandmates, which did not yet include Emma Pseud, who I think joined the Band a year or so after this story. Cameron and his friends were not the only ones investigating whatever was going on, but I couldn't tell you much about the others. However, my story also involved the backstory of Sloane Mocha-Java. And it involved Cameron being prejudiced against Elves, something he would get over in the course of this story. And... so much happened in the story that I found really interesting and helpful in understanding some of my characters. So I'm super annoyed to have lost the story.
